Your email address and password are only used to match with our database of users to allow you access to the Subscriber area of the site. Session cookies are used to ensure that only you as a current member can enjoy continued access to the service. If the site detects no use after 15 minutes the session will expire and no cookie will be written to your computer.

The following explanation is provided for why this data is collected:

When you become a Subscriber of our service we utilise your email address, a password specified by you, and your name for the following purposes. 1. Logging In - Your email address and your specified password are required each time you visit our site. This is matched with our database of valid subscribers to ensure that only current members are allowed access to the service. 2. Your email address and your name are used to advise you of any change in the service, or to advise you when your subscription is due for renewal/will expire. This information is only held by ourselves for the duration of your subscription and is not passed to any third party. You may amend your details at any time using the request facility on the Login page of the site.

Policy Evaluation

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 will evaluate this policy's compact policy whenever it is used with a cookie. The actions IE will take depend on what privacy level the user has selected in their browser (Low, Medium, Medium High, or High; the default is Medium. In addition, IE will examine whether the cookie's policy is considered satisfactory or unsatisfactory, whether the cookie is a session cookie or a persistent cookie, and whether the cookie is used in a first-party or third-party context. This section will attempt to evaluate this policy's compact policy against Microsoft's stated behavior for IE6.

Note: this evaluation is currently experimental and should not be considered a substitute for testing with a real Web browser.
